Privacy
IWDA endorses the National Privacy Principles as part of our operating principles, and will ensure that any personal data held about you is as correct as possible.

We hold information about you if you have indicated that you have an interest in our organisation as a donor, a prospective supporter or as a volunteer. The type of information that we collect includes names, addresses, emails and financial information supplied to us by you, and is only retained where it will assist in achieving our mission and keeping you, as our supporter or volunteer, informed of our activity. We will offer you regular opportunities to correct your information and you may, at any time, contact us to gain access to any data we hold about you (subject to identification). We will not use data held about you, such as a mailing address, for any purpose other than what you have indicated, and we will not share or sell your details to any third party.

Currency
All donations and purchases on this website are in Australian dollars (AUD) only, as IWDA’s only locale is Australia. Donations of more than $2 are tax deductible within Australia, according to IWDA’s Deductible Gift Recipient Status and Income Tax Exempt Status.

Refunds
IWDA will refund donations made via the “Gifts of Change” catalogue to supporters where requested. However, as this is a complex process and both the original donation and the reversal process generates IWDA administrative costs, we respectfully request that supporters consider carefully the realities of IWDA and the work we do before requesting a refund.

As there is no actual merchandise in the catalogue, IWDA does not have policies regarding returned merchandise or exporting.

Delivery
Cards will be delivered to purchasers of “Gifts of Change”, for them to give to the recipients of their gifts. Printed cards will be available until December 11 2010

Security
Credit card details will be encrypted and truncated by the online payment portal before storage, ssl 128 bytes will be used. Your credit card details will not be stored by IWDA itself. Storage of your personal details is detailed in the Privacy section, above.
