Narangoda Manori

Narangoda Liyanage Manori was born in Sri Lanka, and began her career at The Hilton in Colombo, where her love of cooking and fine dining steadily grew. She later began cooking in Japan, where she developed an appreciation of traditional Japanese food, and enjoyed preparing dishes with new flavours, exotic and rare spices.

On moving to Melbourne, Narangoda worked in a number of kitchens, gaining experience in large catering companies as well as boutique hotels. She gains great satisfaction from seeing people “elated after enjoying a simple yet cleverly and exquisitely prepared meal” and looks forward to owning her own catering company after completing her studies at Holmesglen Institute of Tafe.
